Jude has built a career around supporting and advocating for children, families and early care and education professionals. She is a self-motivated early childhood professional with extensive experience supporting children and families through community-based programs in private and non-profit realms.
In addition to providing direct care for children birth to 6, her work has extended into managing community programs that provide medical care and prenatal education, parent education in the context of supervised visitation and safety for children who have experinced trauma. Jude is captivated by second language acquisition, witnessing children learn to communicate and passionate about supporting positive, nonviolent communication in families.
Jude became a RIE(R) Associate in 2001, earned certification as a 3-6 Montessori teacher in 2005 and trained with the NYS cadre of trainers with the Program for Infant/Toddler Care in 2011. She is a published early childhood photographer whose images have appeared inearly childhood books and journals including "Young Children" and "Montessori Life" and a self-published children's book, Bite a Bagel.
KC is an Assistant Teacher and Co-operator of West Hill Educare. She's certified in Pediatric First Aid, AED and CPR. As part of ongoing NYS licensing requirements, she has successfully completed trianing in a range of Early Childhood Education topics which most recently included Emergent Curriculum and the ACEs trauma assessment tool. KC enjoys the opportunity to learn and grow along with our families at West Hill Educare.
